Presenter Perks
The National Paralysis Resource Center has been providing resources, programs, and support for people with paralysis, their families members, and caregivers for over 20 years. Presenters at our 2025 Summit receive a multitude of perks, including:

The opportunity to opt in for a modest speaking fee

What We’re Looking For
The call for sessions is open to any speaker who will present topics in line with the 2025 theme: Let’s Move Mountains. Sessions should address the needs, independence, concerns and access issues for people with paralysis, their caregivers, and family members. Sessions may also be geared towards health care professionals who work with people with paralysis, paralysis-related community programs on a local, state, or federal level, and paralysis research.
We are specifically interested in the following subject areas:

Emergency preparedness and emergency response
Outdoors for Everyone
Disability and the arts
Caregiving
Accessible and inclusive healthcare
Advocacy
Gun Violence Awareness/Prevention
Disability Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

November 15, 2024: Deadline to submit a proposal to speak.
December 20, 2024: Speakers notified of acceptance.
Requirements
Submission Requirements
An individual or organization may only submit one proposal.
Deadline for submissions is November 15, 2024.
Submissions will be evaluated and selected on a rolling basis.
No late submissions will be accepted. (See Important Dates and Deadlines)
No product or organizational endorsement proposals will be accepted. If you are interested in promoting your product or organization, please consider becoming a sponsor or exhibitor.
Presentation Requirements Anyone submitting a proposal to present is asked to keep the conference dates available until notified of the status of their proposal. If selected to be a presenter, you must agree to the following:
Work with the Reeve Foundation, its vendors, and technology company to adapt the session to fit the time slot or format of the session.
Review the deadlines and key steps for the session that include advance uploading of materials, testing equipment, and being present at least one hour before the session.
Incur all expenses related to the development and implementation of their session.
Allow the presentation to be made available and viewed in a PDF format by registrants through the online attendee portal, as well as available on the Reeve Foundation’s website for accessibility purposes.
This is a non-solicitation environment and shall not be used for commercial sales pitches, self-promotion or unwarranted criticism of a competitor or third party.
If selected to speak at Reeve Summit 2025, you’ll be asked to promote your session through your own networks.
All sessions will be evaluated by attendees via a survey provided at the end of each session.
All presentations, if using PowerPoints, must use the Reeve Summit 2025 PowerPoint template (to be provided), which meets accessibility standards. In addition, presentations must be accessible via the following guidelines: *
PowerPoints must have accessible color contrast in slides.
Text on slides should be clear and concise.
All videos shown must have captions turned on.
Presenters understand that the Reeve Foundation has the right to make minor edits to presentations for accessibility purposes, if the above guidelines are not met.*
