Why did you become a peer mentor?
I became a peer mentor to help others living with a spinal cord injury adapt into their new lives. I want others with a spinal cord injury to know that life is not over because of this injury. Life will be more challenges and ups and downs but you can still live an amazing and beautiful life. I want to inspire others to keep living and growing despite the physical limitations of a spinal injury.
