Why did you become a peer mentor?
I feel very blessed to have had great mentors when I first got hurt and introduced to wheelchair sports. Not only did it build muscle, but confidence. I would like to help other newly injured personnel know that there is a way to still do the activities they want to do, just do it from a wheelchair. Adapt, and over come!
