We get out a lot: church, family, sports, movies, restaurants, walks, some travel.
Why did you become a peer mentor?
My husband’s accident happened 11 years ago. I would hope that some of my experience and knowledge of spinal cord injury equipment could help others. I also think it helps just to talk to someone else who really understands more of what you are going through and how you have coped.
