Why did you become a peer mentor?
I became a peer mentor in order to give back and keep me
connected to the challenges of paralysis and the hope that springs from meeting these challenges. Many mentors helped me when I was first dealing with this tragic change in circumstances, and I continue to rely on the support of peers and friends. This injury is life altering and profound, and I want to contribute all I can to those in need of support.
